 I followed the installation instructions for my template but the template hasn't been applied. What's wrong?

Solution

Most of the times your template files have installed just fine. However your CS-Cart Cache might need to be cleared in order for the new template to show up at your storefront.

To clear your CS-Cart Cache you must do the following:

If for example your store url is my_domain.com and your admin area url is my_domain.com/admin.php make your title look like this: www.my_domain.com/admin.php?&cc and hit enter to load that page in order to clean up your cache.

It is most likely that your template will now show up.

However as mentioned on your received instructions you must make sure that  the "My Changes" addon found on Administration Addons is activated due to the fact that our templates use hooks and this addon must be installed and activated (which in most cases is active by default).
